July 8 - 13, 2008 City on the Hill Youth Leadership Conference
Now in its 21st year, City on the Hill has helped education and equip hundreds of young people to be engaged, informed, and responsible citizens.
During the week-long conference, students become mock legislators, experiencing first-hand the legislative process as they debate actual legislation from the current legislative session.
City on the Hill is the ideal program for any young person interested in politics, government, or public policy. More than just a political camp, students receive world view training from edifying speakers including pastors, businesspeople, lawyers, and a variety of leaders from many different fields. Students also participate in special worship services and insightful Bible studies. Lifelong friendships are forged during this unforgettable week.
The conference is held at William Jessup University in Rocklin, just 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento, CA.

Summer Day Camp
2008-SUMMER DAY CAMP
Calvary Chapel Christian School Summer Day Camp is for children entering kindergarten through incoming 7th grades. Bible studies and prayer time, arts and crafts, sports, games, library, story time, hip hop dance, music/drama, movies, academics (1st-7th grade), and in-class field trips will be offered to provide a variety of enrichment and activities in a Christian environment.
Summer Day Camp will be in session for 9 weeks from June 23 to August 22, 2008. Registration will be done in the CCCS office.
The cost for Summer Day Camp is $85.00 for full time and $65.00 for part time students (part time consists of 3 days a week or 6 hours or less per day, per week), per child, which is due each Monday in advance. A non-refundable $30.00 registration fee, per child, will be required when you register.

GRADUATION NEWS!!!
All graduating seniors will be issued 12 wristbands which their guests will need to wear in order to gain entrance into the graduation ceremony on June 12th. Parents must pick up and sign for their wristbands in the school office beginning May 12th through June 11th. Please note-the wristbands will not be released to students.
