Welcome to Calvary Chapel Christian School . . .
Vision
Our vision is that students who attend CCCS will learn to exhibit the qualities of followers of Jesus Christ: to be people who love Him and desire to submit to His Lordship in every aspect of their lives.
Mission
Our mission, as a Christ-centered school, is to challenge our students academically, spiritually, socially, and physically to become servant-leaders who serve God, honor their families, and embrace Christ’s call to transform the world.
The Great Commission
CCCS exists for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission of making disciples for Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19) and directing young people to fulfill the Great Commandment of loving God and loving one another (Matthew 22:37-40).
Philosophy of Education
We believe that parents are God’s primary provision for nurturing and educating children based on our understanding of Deuteronomy 6:6-9. It is our desire to come alongside and supplement the home, serving as a representative of parents in matters of education, ministry, and discipline. We believe a strong home/school relationship is essential. Therefore, parental involvement and support play vital roles in the academic and spiritual growth and development of each child. Teachers and parents must regularly and consistently communicate regarding the progress of the child through such means as telephone calls, written correspondence, email, progress reports, report cards, and parent/teacher conferences.
Our Story: A Legacy of Faith
Founded as a K-6 school outreach of Calvary Chapel Moreno Valley by our founding Pastor John Milhouse. Initial enrollment: 92 students.
The High School was established, adding grades 9 and 10 to the campus.
Completed the expansion to include grades 11 and 12, offering a full K-12 college preparatory program. Celebrated our first graduating class in 2000.
Established a robust college prep curriculum including 4 years of English and Bible, plus Lab Sciences and Math. Incorporating extra curricular activites including Chapel Worship, volunteer service, and CIF Sports.
Continuing our commitment to daily Bible study, weekly chapel, and a safe, protective environment where students grow in wisdom, stature, and favor.
True followers of Jesus Christ will know Him and seek to make Him known; they will grow in Him and grow as He grew “in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people” (Luke 2:52).
